The Face of a Warrior

So I have this series I've been wanting to work on for a while now...and this is more relaxing..so here's the beginning of it. This was all inspired by the "Preparing for Battle" digital painting I did for =ehmaysink's background contest. [link]

Different technique this time...I'm still working out how to digitally paint the way I want to...

I did paint over it again with different kinds of strokes...now it reflects more of how I actually paint in real life... I like it much better now. Plus it doesn't look as flat.
